people who make you feel better about yourself when you’re sad are so important
I’ve never known anything more fragile than his ego,
Except of course my own insecurities.
Tippy and unstable,
I cut him off at the end of all his lines.
I don’t need another rocky foundation,
Nor a reminder of what he lacks.
I don’t need your practiced verses,
When my own vocals are stacked.
And all while you speak to me in rapid staccato,
My mind has already poured cement through your cracks.
